We Remember the 470th - Meeting 5.19.06 Heads Up

Dayna,Lise,Marianne,Leslie and Dianne all came to my house last night for our discussion of The Other Boelyn Girl. Sorry that Karen and Pat could not join us. It was a great evening even if we did go a bit ................. off subject!!!! We did manage to pull it together with Lise's help and did discuss some interesting parts of the book. Thanks,Dayna for the asides of historical information that you provided us. However, there is so much to discuss in this rich book and time in history that I feel we could have a whole mini series of discussions about it!!!! We agreed that our next book is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. This is a biggie lengthwise. We will not meet till Sept. because of summer,etc. I have a suggestion: I get the on demand feature from Comcast. For $3.99 I can order here some chick flicks or whatever that we all missed. So I suggest a girls movie night some Friday. Bring the pop corn!
